West Michigan Beach Forecast: Low Swim Risk Saturday, High Risk Monday

Grand Rapids, MI – The National Weather Service has issued a beach forecast for West Michigan this weekend, highlighting varying swim risks.

According to the NWS, Saturday will be mostly sunny with air temperatures between 60-70°F and low swim risks due to 1-3 foot waves. Sunday brings PM showers and storms with temperatures ranging from 65-75°F and low swim risks. However, on Monday, scattered showers are expected, with temperatures dropping to 60-65°F and wave heights increasing to 3-6 feet, resulting in a high swim risk. Beachgoers are advised to be cautious and aware of the potential dangers.
