Wilmington Man Charged with Residential Burglary in Kendall County

KENDALL COUNTY, IL – A Wilmington man has been charged with alleged residential burglary in Kendall County following an investigation by detectives with the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. 

Jeffrey Henderson, 42, was taken into custody earlier today after a warrant was issued. According to reports, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary on Sonora Drive in the Boulder Hill subdivision on February 15, 2023. 

The complainant stated that several items were missing from their home following a visit from a contractor.

Kendall County Sheriff’s Office detectives began an investigation into the incident and on March 28, 2023, charged Henderson, of the 0-1000 Block of N. Washington St, Wilmington, IL, with one count of residential burglary, a class 1 felony. 

Henderson’s bond was set at $30,000, with ten percent to apply, and he has since posted bond.
