Central Wisconsin Preps for Severe Storms, Large Hail Tuesday

Green Bay, WI – Central Wisconsin is bracing for severe weather on Tuesday, with the National Weather Service forecasting large hail, damaging winds, and the potential for a few tornadoes. The severe thunderstorms are expected to hit late in the afternoon and continue into the evening, posing significant risks to the area.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, the first round of storms is predicted to move through late Tuesday morning into early afternoon, bringing heavy rain as the main threat. However, a second, more intense round of storms is expected to follow later in the day, bringing with it the potential for large hail and damaging winds.

In addition to the risk of hail and tornadoes, heavy rainfall is anticipated, which could lead to localized flooding in some areas. The Weather Prediction Center has highlighted a 15% risk of excessive rainfall in central Wisconsin. Locals are advised to prepare for the possibility of flooding and to take necessary precautions to protect their property.
