Major Five-Car Accident on Hwy 50 in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin: Extended Road Closure

Pleasant Prairie, WI – A significant traffic disruption occurred on Tuesday morning on Hwy 50, due to a five-car accident that blocked westbound lanes at Green Bay Road. 

Authorities from the Pleasant Prairie Police Department announced the closure of both east and westbound lanes on Hwy 50, stretching from Hwy H to Green Bay Road, urging commuters to find alternate routes. 

Following the accident, the Multi-jurisdictional Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) was activated, indicating the road closure may extend beyond one hour. Local traffic is advised to avoid Hwy 50 as investigation and clearance efforts continue.
