Wisconsin Police Chase Ends in Arrest After Fatal Hit-and-Run Involving 4-Year-Old

Milwaukee, WI – In a significant breakthrough, a 30-year-old man has been arrested following a police chase related to a fatal hit-and-run that took the life of a four-year-old girl on April 30, 2024.

The incident, which occurred on the 6900 block of N. Teutonia Ave., ended with the suspect’s vehicle crashing in a parking lot on the 7200 block of W. North Ave.

The male suspect, along with a 21-year-old female driver, attempted to evade police by fleeing a traffic stop on the 5800 block of N. 83rd Street, leading to their eventual capture. Both individuals were hospitalized for medical evaluation following the crash.

Milwaukee Police are continuing their search for additional individuals involved in the hit-and-run.The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office is preparing to review the case for potential charges. Authorities are calling for anyone with information about the case to contact Milwaukee Police or to provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers.
