Nature Meets Creativity: Experience Sean Kenney’s LEGO Art at Kingwood Center Gardens

MANSFIELD, OH – Nature Connects® exhibit featuring award-winning artist Sean Kenney’s art with LEGO bricks is coming to Kingwood Center Gardens this summer. The exhibition will showcase 15 sculptures made with over 460,000 LEGO bricks, displayed at the gardens from June 2 to September 17, 2023.

Sean Kenney, an artist and founding member of global programs that encourage and support LEGO sculptures, is a renowned figure in contemporary sculpture, portraiture, and commercial art. The exhibition, produced by Imagine Exhibitions, aims to spark a sense of wonder and discovery in visitors of all ages.

The Nature Connects® exhibition showcases sculptures that illustrate the interconnection between LEGO bricks and the natural world. 

Visitors can participate in interactive educational activities and community creations featuring free-form nature-based sculptures by community members of all ages.

Kingwood Center Gardens will offer special features during this exhibit, including pop-up educational activities and a Community Creations competition. Visitors can also grab a bite to eat in the Gateway Café or shop for souvenirs, plants, jewelry, and home décor at the Garden & Gift Shop.

Tickets go on sale on April 15th and are priced at $8 per person for ages 13 and above, free for kids under 12, and free for Kingwood members. Timed-ticket registration is required, with timed tickets based on a 1.5-hour arrival window.
