101 COVID: Iroquois County adds 3rd death, Watseka, Crescent City report

Iroquois County Health Department officials announced late Saturday a third person has died of COVID-19 inside of the County.  So far 681 residents have been tested in Iroquois County, with 101 resulting in positive cases.

Five area residents are currently hospitalized with 62 in isolation.  Cases at Ascension Presence Merkle-Knipprath Countryside Nursing Home in Clifton remain unchanged as cases in Clifton grew to 41 on Tuesday.  At least one resident has died at that facility.

Both Watseka and Crescent City zips have begun reporting via IDPH in the past 24 hours.  Watseka with nine and Crescent City with six.
