Over 800: Kankakee County reports 56 new COVID-19, City adds 19 Tuesday

Kankakee County Health Department officials announced 56 new cases on Tuesday, which brought the County’s totals over 800 cases to date.

There are now 809 case of COVID-19 in the County with 34 deaths.  At least 156 of those have recovered. Cases included 2 children under the age of 13.

Cases increased Tuesday via IDPH over the course of the past 24 hours, reporting Manteno (+2) Bourbonnais (+6), Bradley (+1), Kankakee (+19), and Momence (+1). Here’s how cases break down across Kankakee County via confirmed Zip Codes on Tuesday:

  • 58 Cases (Manteno)
  • 94 Cases (Bourbonnais)
  • 34 Cases (Bradley)
  • 317 Cases (Kankakee)
  • 17 Cases (St. Anne)
  • 19 Cases (Momence)
  • 18 Cases (Pembroke)
  • 10 Cases (Chebanse)
