Breaking: Serious Pedestrian-Vehicle Crash Halts Traffic in Oakbrook Terrace

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. – A grave crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle has occurred late Friday night at the intersection of Butterfield and Marshall, adjacent to the Oakbrook Terrace Fire Station. 

The aftermath has resulted in a complete shutdown of Butterfield in both directions. Given the critical nature of the incident, the county’s premier investigative task force, the Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigative Team (MERIT), has activated its Major Crash Reconstruction Team for a thorough probe into the event.
