Bridge Closure Near Helts Prairie Cemetery in Vermilion County to Impact Local Traffic Beginning Today

Vermilion County, IN – Residents and commuters are advised to prepare for upcoming disruptions as the Vermilion County Indiana Sheriff announced that starting Wednesday, May 15, 2024, County Road 1050 South, west of Helts Prairie Cemetery, will be closed for bridge replacement work. 

The closure is part of a broader infrastructure enhancement project aiming to improve road safety and longevity. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid delays. 

The project’s completion date has yet to be disclosed, but updates on progress and road openings will be provided by local authorities.
