Iroquois County Health Department officials announced late Saturday night two new cases of COVID-19 had been reported in the county, as the area continues to balance their COVID-19 count, now with 10 recovered and 8 active cases, four of which were announced this past week.

No deaths from the virus have been announced in the County.

Of the four, they included a man and woman in their 20s, a woman in her 30s and a woman in her 60s.

Prior to Wednesdays’ announcement of Case 15, it had been nearly a week since any new cases had been reported by the Health Department.

As of Sunday morning, no zip codes had begun reporting for Iroquois County.  IDPH requires a minimum of 5 cases per zip code before reporting will begin for any zip.
