Gas prices continue to say under $4 a gallon

BOURBONNAIS – For the fourth consecutive week, Kankakee County residents continue to see prices fall at the pump.

According to AAA, the average price of gasoline Monday in Illinois had fallen to $4.28 per gallon, down 14 cents from last week and down 78 cents over the last month.

Kankakee County saw it’s cheapest gas Tuesday at Casey’s at 421 N Dixie Highway in Momence according to GasBuddy at $3.62, that’s .66 cents below the statewide average.

The average price per gallon in the county is currently $3.99 in Kankakee County.
