KANKAKEE, IL – COUNTRY Financial Representative Keith Brack has made a significant contribution to support local law enforcement in Kankakee County.

Brack recently donated $1,500 to bolster the capabilities of the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office towards the acquisition of advanced drone equipment. Brack emphasized the importance of equipping law enforcement with cutting-edge technology. The funds will be utilized to purchase additional batteries and accessories for the recently acquired drone, further enhancing the office’s capabilities.

It comes at a time when drones are playing an increasingly vital role in law enforcement operations. With the recent enactment of the Drones as First Responders Act, law enforcement agencies in Illinois now have the authority to utilize drones for various purposes. The integration of drones enables more efficient search and rescue missions, disaster monitoring, and accident investigations.

Sheriff Mike Downey expressed his gratitude for COUNTRY Financial’s support and their Operation Helping Heroes initiative. He praised Brack and the entire COUNTRY Financial team for their unwavering commitment to public safety. The donation empowers the Sheriff’s Office to leverage the power of cutting-edge drone technology in critical operations, ensuring the safety and security of the community.

Since 2020, COUNTRY Financial has donated over $5 million to organizations and programs benefiting teachers, first responders, active-duty service members, and veterans. The Operation Helping Heroes program, established in 2015, demonstrates their commitment to those who selflessly serve others.
