FAIR OAKS, IN – A Fair Oaks man was arrested earlier this month for allegedly subjecting his sister’s cat to a bizarre and disturbing act of cruelty.

Jasper County Sheriff’s Police report Keifer A. Fleming, 30, allegedly used an aerosol-type Gorilla glue, spraying the helpless feline before making chilling threats to set it ablaze, along with the family home. The disturbing incident arose from a backdrop of simmering anger and vengeance against his family members.

Deputies arriving at the home at the time describe a tense atmosphere, where family members recounted the unsettling events that had transpired.

Fleming was soon after taken into custody on serious charges, including a Level 6 Felony for Cruelty to an Animal, as well as two counts of Intimidation – one a Level 6 Felony and the other a Class A Misdemeanor.
