JASPER COUNTY, IN – Earlier this week, following a tip-off from a school resource officer regarding drug sales in a residence, officials from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Police and Rensselaer Police Department conducted a raid on a home located in the 400 block of S Weston.

During the raid, police found a variety of illicit substances, including methamphetamine, marijuana, THC wax, and THC and nicotine vaping cartridges. When officers entered the home, individuals inside attempted to flee, but two were apprehended outside the residence, and one was found hiding upstairs.

Authorities suspect that one of the juveniles who lived in the house was selling drugs at school. Although no names have been released, police are investigating further to determine who was involved and what charges will be filed.
