KANKAKEE, IL – Calling all dog owners! Kankakee County Animal Control is bringing a fantastic opportunity to ensure the safety and well-being of your furry companions to the heart of Kankakee. On September 9, 2023, from 8 am to 12 pm, the Kankakee Farmers’ Market will host a special microchip clinic, where you can get your canine friends microchipped for just $15.

This initiative aims to provide peace of mind to pet owners by offering a reliable method to locate their dogs in case they ever get lost. Remember to bring cash, as it’s the only accepted payment method, and don’t forget to bring a photo ID.
