The Kankakee County Courthouse is asking visitors to wear a mask.

That was the request of Judge Kramer, Chief Judge of the 21st Judicial Circuit along with Sheriff Mike Downey today.  They encourage all visiting the Kankakee County Courthouse to comply with the request.  Visitors will not be issued masks at the Courthouse but are asked to bring their own.

The request came down minutes after Governor Pritzker’s 2:30 pm press conference today, in which he advised citizens of the State to wear a mask when going out, not to protect yourself, but to protect others around you.
