Kankakee Bowling Alley Ransacked: Damage Caused in Brazen Burglary

KANKAKEE, IL – A daring burglary at Brookmont Bowling Center in the 200 block of West Brookmont Boulevard left a trail of destruction. 

According to Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, it happened early July 4th when two suspects shattered a window to gain illicit access to the building. Once inside, they unleashed havoc, inflicting significant damage on gaming machines and a soda dispenser. Police report it appeared the duo’s primary aim to be accessing the cash within, but they managed to flee the scene before police arrived. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward or call CrimeStoppers at 815-93CRIME.
