Man wanted after Speedway Gas robbery in Frankfort

FRANKFORT – Sheriff’s police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Speedway Gas Station at gun point on Harlem Avenue just before midnight Tuesday.

According to the Will County Sheriff’s Office, it happened at 19730 S. Harlem Ave. when a man wearing an N-95 mask showed a customer the gun while in line to pay.  He then ordered the customer he was in line with and two employees to the ground and proceeded to steal $300 from the register.

After reviewing video surveillance from the scene, Sheriff’s office reports the suspect is a Black male, 20-30-years-old, around 5’8” tall around 150 pounds.  He fled the station on foot following the robbery. 

No one was injured in the incident.
