Electronic Recycling Event to be held in Watseka September 10th

WATSEKA – The City of Watseka and The Iroquois County Board will host an Electronic Recycling Event in September.

The event will take place Saturday September 10th from 8am to noon in the Riverside Parking Lot.

Those looking to work with organizations and donating numerous electronic ms can contact Mark Garfield at 815-471-3413 to schedule a delivery.

Items that will be accepted during the event include old TVs, Camcorders, Christmas Lights, Desktop Computers and more.  A full list of items accepted is found below.


Recyclable items include:

Battery Backups and uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)

Cellular/Mobile Phones

Christmas tree lights

Computer Peripherals (keyboards, mice, etc.)
