LISBON – A major motorcycle crash unfolded at the intersection of Route 52 and Grove Rd Saturday at 1:20pm leaving a patient unconscious and prompting an urgent response from emergency services.
According to reports Lisbon Seward Fire Protection District (FPD) and Minooka FPD rushed to the scene, with a Lifestar medical helicopter also called in for assistance.
The crash, involving a motorcycle, has resulted in a patient losing consciousness, intensifying concerns over potential injuries. Responding swiftly, both Lisbon Seward FPD and Minooka FPD initiated a full response, recognizing the gravity of the situation.
As the injured motorcyclist’s condition remained uncertain, local authorities have issued an advisory, urging commuters and residents to steer clear of the area as first responders work diligently to manage the situation.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
