Kankakee, IL – State Representative Lindsay Parkhurst (R – Kankakee) invites constituents to participate in a roundtable forum before the General Assembly convenes for the Fall Veto Session of the 101st General Assembly.

“The best way to represent the 79th District is to hear directly from the people. This is the fourth New Bill Roundtable I hosted since I took office in 2017. These roundtables provide important insight to the concerns and thoughts of the people which we turn into legislation and law,” Rep. Parkhurst said.

The roundtable is October 22nd from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Rep. Parkhurst’s District Office at 370 E. Court St. in Kankakee. Rep. Parkhurst will be available to listen to constituent ideas to introduce new legislation benefiting the 79th District and Illinois for the spring legislative session. For constituents who wish to submit their ideas, but are unable to attend, a submission box is available at www.repparkhurst.com.
