River Valley Metro announces reduced Service due to COVID-19

River Valley Metro announced beginning Monday, April 6th, buses will be making temporary changes in services provided, including all fixed routes ending at 7 pm.  River Valley Metro will be reducing Midway Commuter Service to two AM runs and two PM runs each day while suspending weekend operations.  All University Park Commuter Services will be suspended until further notice.

“River Valley Metro is truly sorry for any inconvenience that these reductions in service may cause, but our main goal is to provide essential trips in the safest environment possible and stop the spread of COVID-19 so we can get back to normal as soon as possible.” said River Valley Metro in a statement earlier today.

Customers currently using fixed route service for essential work trips later than 7 pm can call 815-937-4287.
