COVID 19 Illinois: 7,695 cases, 157 dead

IDPH officials announced this afternoon 715 new coronavirus cases in Illinois, including 16 deaths, bringing the State’s total to 7,695 known cases and 157 deaths.

Two of those 16 new deaths came from Kankakee County earlier this morning.  Now 61 counties in Illinois are reporting COVID-19 cases.  New counties reporting include Logan, Macoupin, Mercer, Moultrie, and Piatt counties.
