Texas Residents Among Three Injured in Illinois Shooting: Police Seek Info

CHAMPAIGN – An early morning shooting left two Texas residents injured: an 18-year-old woman from Fort Worth and a 25-year-old man from Donna. Another man from Gary, Indiana, was also wounded. All are currently in stable condition.

According to Champaign Polive, it happened at 2:24 a.m. on N. Neil Street, during a gathering, with the assailant escaping the scene. Champaign Police are now seeking any related surveillance footage or witness accounts. 

They encourage anyone with information, especially local businesses or residents with camera systems, to come forward. Tips can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers, offering substantial rewards for crucial leads.
