Wanted Homeless Man found on Route 45 Arrested for Drug Possession, Defaced Firearm in Iroquois County

IROQUOIS COUNTY, Ill. – Iroquois County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 23-year-old homeless man on drug and weapons charges after responding to a report of an unresponsive male subject in a vehicle.

According to reports, Officers discovered Trevor Harris, 23, unresponsive in a vehicle at 500 N and Route 45. Upon further investigation, they allegedly discovered suspected methamphetamine, drug materials, and a pistol with defaced serial numbers.

Harris is facing charges for Possession of a Defaced Firearm, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, METH possession, and Drug Paraphernalia. The accused was also wanted on two outstanding warrants, from Kankakee and Williamson Counties.
