WILMINGTON – Christmas Trees will be available for cutting beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving at Tammen Treeberry Farm.

“This has been a difficult year for all of us.” Tammen Treeberry Farm said in late October. “Let us hope your visit to our farm can provide some normalcy.”

The farm, located at 37131 Essex Road in Wilmington, will open the day after Thanksgiving at 8 am with trees starting at $60 each, regardless of size. The Farm is warning visitors to keep safe this year, releasing a single page sheet of COVID-19 protocols for the 2020 Tree Season Saturday morning it expects both its employees and visitors to follow.

“We cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed but we can guarantee that we are taking precautions for the safety of our families, our employees, and their families for you and your family.” Tammen Treeberry Farm said Saturday. The Farm plans to regularly check employees’ health while sanitizing surfaces, including saws, between customer visits. Masks and social distancing will also be utilized with sanitizer and curbside pickup available for customers.

Visitors are asked to wear a mask when visiting. The farm dropped a hint for customers to visit during weekdays for a less busy experience.
