Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School has canceled athletics practices for the remainder fo the week.  There is no football tonight or girls basketball practice tomorrow.

The announcement comes after a revision to IDPH guidelines for “Return to Play” that require athletes to wear a mask, including athletics.  “It is not practical or health to wear a mask during strenuous physical activity.” BBCHS Athletics said in a Facebook post on Thursday afternoon.

Among changes made to the “Return to Play” guidelines include:

  • There cannot be any contact drills/physical contact among athletes.
  • All persons must always wear masks.
  • There must be a strict 50 person limit to all indoor activities.

More info is expected to come soon.
