The Kankakee County Health Department is reporting 48 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 48 hours. There are now 325 active cases in the County, including four hospitalized from the Virus.
Among new cases include 25 males and 23 females ranging in ages less than 13 to over 90 years old. The largest populous of new cases in the County is currently coming from men and women in their 20s with 15 new cases in the last two days. The second most positive age groups were cases in their 40s, with 12 new cases in the last two days.
There are now 63 deaths related to COVID-19 in Kankakee County, with 1050 recoveries. Overall there have been 1,406 cases in Kankakee County since the pandemic began.
