COVID-19: 11.2k positive cases now in Illinois, 274 dead

Illinois announced 899 new COVID-19 cases today, and 31 deaths. Bringing State of Illinois totals to 11,256 cases with 274 deaths.

Among the deaths today include a individual from Statesville Prison in Crest Hill, IL. Over 60 positive cases have been identified at Statesville. Cases stretch across 71 counties, included Boone, Calhoun and Gallatin counties, all now reporting cases.

Kankakee County officials announce no change in case totals since their 9am update at 76 earlier this morning.
