Illinois National Guard members begin receiving COVID-19 vaccines

LASALLE – Members of Illinois National Guard have began receiving doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I think this is our opportunity, as a society, really to take advantage of a modern-day miracle.” Maj. Gen. Rich Neely, the Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard, explains in the PSA, released Thursday.

Neely was one of several members of the Illinois National Guard who volunteered for their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the LaSalle Veterans Home in LaSalle.
