Lowest single day total in months as IDPH announces 473 COVID-19 cases Monday

Illinois Department of Public Health announced Monday the lowest number of new cases in a 24-hour period in months.  In total, 473 new cases of the disease were confirmed in the past day, including 19 deaths. 

Statewide totals since the pandemic began now stand at 133,016 cases with 6,326 deaths.

The rolling 7 day positivity rate remains at 3%.
