Over 80 infants, 85 total, have tested positive for corona virus in Texas.

“These babies have not even had their first birthdays yet,” said Annette Rodriguez, director of public health for Corpus Christi Nueces County. “Please help us to stop the spread of this disease. Stay social distance from others; stay protected. Wear a mask when in public and for everyone else please do your best to stay home.”

The announcement came from local public health officials as the U.S. set a new single day record with 75,775 new COVID-19 cases reported. On Saturday, death totals suprassed 140,000 in the US since the pandemic began.

The US leads all countries with 3.67 million cases and counting since COVID-19 arrived in the US. The second closet country in cases is Brazil with 2.04 million cases and India, which just surpassed 1 million cases.
