Kankakee Police charge juvenile after handgun found

KANKAKEE – Kankakee Police have charged a juvenile after a report of shots fired in the 300 block of South Wildwood Wednesday night.

Police responded to the scene just after 9:15 pm.

After arriving on the scene police pursued the juvenile to a yard in the 400 block of Rosewood, where a handgun was reportedly found nearby. 

The juvenile was taken into custody and charged with Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
