$1,000 REWARD: Help Solve Motorcycle Hit-and-Run Tragedy in Kankakee County

MOMENCE, IL – In a devastating hit-and-run on August 27, 2023, 52-year-old Bert N. Lawton of Grant Park lost his life while riding his motorcycle. 

Illinois State Police are hot on the trail of a black Chevrolet Impala, model years 2006-2011, seen speeding west on 4000 North Road post-collision. With heavy front-end damage and missing its bumper grille, the car is pivotal to the ongoing investigation. Those with any leads are urged to call 815-209-6567.
