Bradley, IL – Bradley, Illinois is turning their recent celestial experience into a chance for global generosity.

Following the awe-inspiring eclipse, Bradley Public Library is calling on residents to donate their undamaged eclipse glasses. In a community-spirited move, the library plans to forward these glasses to communities around the world where such protective eyewear is scarce, ensuring others can safely enjoy future solar spectacles.

This initiative not only recycles these often single-use items but also fosters a sense of global community and responsible stewardship of astronomical events.

Residents can drop off their glasses at the library’s circulation desk, participating in a simple act of kindness with far-reaching effects.
