Addison, IL – Local School Temporarily Locked Down After Nearby Domestic Dispute

Addison, IL – Ardmore School was placed on a temporary lockdown following a domestic dispute that occurred around 12:00 PM today on the 600 block of S. Wisconsin Avenue. 

According to the Addison Police Department, a person involved in the dispute fled towards the school, prompting the lockdown. The individual was detained at Ardmore School shortly thereafter. 

Both Ardmore School and the Early Learning Center implemented a lock and stay as a safety measure, which has since been lifted, allowing classes to continue as scheduled.
