Dupage County, IL – Miraculously No Injuries Reported in Elmhurst Train-Vehicle Crash

Elmhurst, IL –  In a fortunate turn of events, a crash involving a vehicle and a Metra train at the Union Pacific railroad crossing on Haven Street in Elmhurst resulted in no injuries. 

The incident occurred at 5:43 p.m. on Friday, drawing quick responses from local police and fire departments. 

According to preliminary findings, the vehicle was stalled on the tracks when the train approached, leading to the collision.The Metra Police Department is on the scene conducting a thorough investigation into the crash. 

Meanwhile, train services have been affected, and the Haven Street crossing is temporarily closed.
