Lombard, IL – In an update to the heightened police activity at Yorktown Center Shopping Mall, Lombard Police have determined there was no credible threat following reports of a suspicious person in the UFC Gym parking lot. 

Earlier advisories to avoid the area have been lifted, with the investigation concluding and officers dispersing from the scene. The mall has resumed normal operations. This incident serves as a reminder of the prompt responsiveness of local law enforcement to potential security issues and their dedication to community safety.
