Naperville Fire Department Seeks Vehicle Donations for Critical Training Exercises

Naperville, IL – The Naperville Fire Department is seeking donations of used and clunker vehicles from residents and local businesses to enhance firefighter training.

According to a recent post by the Naperville Fire Department, these vehicles will be used for practicing critical auto extrication skills. This training involves safely removing victims from severely damaged vehicles, simulating real emergency conditions to better prepare rescue personnel.

Donors must provide vehicles with titles and keys. If a vehicle cannot be driven to the fire department, arrangements can be made for pickup within city limits. Donations may be tax-deductible; donors are advised to consult their tax professionals.
