Chicago Heights, Kankakee Residents Face Charges After Bourbonnais LeVasseur Home Invasion

Bourbonnais, IL – A resident was injured during a home invasion on LeVasseur Avenue, leading to the arrest of Justin M. Jacks from Chicago Heights and Megan A. Green from Kankakee.

According to Bourbonnais Police reports the incident, which occurred just before 11:30 PM on Sunday, has disturbed the peace of the Bourbonnais neighborhood in the 300 block of the street.

Jacks, 33, is charged with alleged home invasion causing great bodily harm, criminal trespass to a residence, theft of property under $500, and criminal damage to property. The charges against Green, 31, are similarly severe, including alleged home invasion with injury. The alleged involvement of both suspects in the incident indicates a grave disregard for the well-being of the inhabitants.

The conditions of the victim are unknown at this time. Both were held at Jerome Combs Detention Center, with bonds set at $100 each.
