BOURBONNAIS, IL — “These two alpacas are here to save the day!” Perry Farm Park is thrilled to introduce its newest members, Chip and Dale, bringing a playful twist reminiscent of everyone’s beloved ‘Rescue Rangers’.
Donated by Kathleen Dummer from Paca Park Place, these charming alpacas join a vibrant family of small horses, goats, sheep, and a potbelly pig at the park.
Alpacas are renowned for their friendly and gentle nature, making them fantastic additions to any family outing. With their soft, eco-friendly footprints and luxurious fleece, Chip and Dale are not only a joy to watch but also a pleasure to interact with. As natives of the Andean highlands, these intelligent creatures are naturally curious and approachable, perfect for visitors looking to engage closely with nature.
Visitors are encouraged to approach our new ‘rescue rangers’ with calmness, allowing for a peaceful interaction that teaches children and adults alike the importance of respecting and caring for animals. Freshly sheared and ready to meet their public, Chip and Dale are at their fluffiest and most comfortable during these warmer months. Perry Farm invites all to visit daily with no admission charge.
