Kankakee County, IL – Don’t Miss the Expanded Strawberry Jazz Festival This Weekend

Bradley, IL – The Strawberry Jazz Festival in Kankakee County is set to expand to two days this year, offering a weekend full of food, entertainment, and community engagement. 

Scheduled for Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event will be held at Northfield Square Mall in Bradley, IL. Admission is free, making it an ideal family outing.

According to the Community Arts Council of Kankakee County, the festival will feature performances on four stages by local theater groups, dance troupes, and musicians. Over 100 artists and crafters will sell their work, and local non-profits will provide information on memberships and upcoming events. 

Attendees can also enjoy an indoor Kids’ Zone and outdoor activities, including the popular Dime Toss. Food trucks will offer covered seating and summer favorites, along with specialty strawberry items available at Center Court. The event is fully accessible, with regular mall hours in effect.
