BRADLEY, IL – In an effort to promote mental well-being and education, Riverside Healthcare is set to host an extensive Mental Health Awareness Fair in Kankakee County. 

The event, designed to be both informative and interactive, aims to draw attention to the resources and support systems available for mental health within the community. Scheduled for Friday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the fair will take place at the Riverside Healthcare Atrium Parking Lot, located at 400 S. Kennedy Drive, Bradley.

The fair will feature experts from Riverside Behavioral Medicine and allied community partners, offering insights into mental health care services, preventive measures, and wellness strategies. In addition to gaining valuable information, the first 100 visitors will enjoy complimentary treats from a La Delicia ice cream bar, with local culinary delights from The Mi Casa and Monster Grilled Cheese available for purchase.

This event stands as a beacon for mental health awareness in the region, fostering a platform for dialogue, education, and community solidarity. With engaging activities and informative booths, it promises to be a pivotal event in strengthening community ties and enhancing the public’s knowledge on mental health issues.
