Kankakee Man Arrested in Family Dispute Stabbing Incident

Kankakee, Illinois – According to Kankakee City Police, a double stabbing incident over the weekend led to the arrest of 41-year-old Nicholas S. Parks. The event occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on Saturday in the 100 block of West Chestnut Street. 

Initially, two victims, who were taking out trash, reported being attacked by nearby residents. However, police investigations revealed the stabbings were part of a family dispute. One victim suffered a chest wound, while the other sustained an arm injury. 

Parks is charged with aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
