Knoxville, IL – Two Men Arrested on Mob Action Charges After Knoxville Brawl

Knoxville, IL – A violent encounter in Knoxville led to the arrest of two men on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. Knox County Deputies were called to a scene where a fight had escalated, involving weapons such as a bat and a golf club.

Upon their arrival, deputies found a man with severe facial trauma and a woman with a laceration to her shin.The investigation quickly led to a vehicle believed to be involved. Following a traffic stop, two men inside the vehicle were detained. The driver, who had a laceration on his cheek, confirmed his participation in the altercation.

Cade Nuss, 22, and James Nuss, 24, were taken into custody and face charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery, and mob action. They are being held at Knox County Jail, with the reminder that they remain innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
