Old Mill Creek, IL – Authorities in Lake County are investigating after a woman’s body was discovered early Wednesday on the side of a road in Old Mill Creek.
Lake County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call around 7 a.m. near Hunt Club Road, south of Route 173, where they found the body on the east shoulder of the road. Preliminary investigations suggest the woman was a victim of homicide, and her body was left at the scene in the early morning hours.
As of now, the woman remains unidentified, and the exact cause and manner of her death are still being determined. Law enforcement officials have not made any arrests in connection with the case.
