Manteno, IL – Late-Night Traffic Stop Leads to Drug, Weapons Charges for Momence Man

Manteno, IL – In the early hours of Tuesday, a traffic stop escalated into an arrest in Manteno when officers stopped an SUV driven by 24-year-old Jason Toller of Momence just after 1 AM. 

According to reports, during their interaction, officers reportedly observed suspicious behavior and noticed a baggie of cannabis, prompting a search of the vehicle. This search uncovered a gun, a digital scale, and multiple baggies containing white powdery and rock-like substances. 

Police arrested Toller on several charges, including aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
