Lake County, IN – Starting Tuesday, drivers traveling on I-65 northbound through Lake County will need to plan for additional travel time as overnight lane closures are set to begin.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the closures between Ridge Road and I-94 will occur from 10 PM to 5 AM, from Tuesday, April 23 through Saturday, April 27. These measures are in place for ITS traffic radio installation and fiber optic repairs.
While the main thoroughfare will face disruptions, access from northbound I-65 to the I-94 westbound ramp will be maintained throughout the period. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes or allow extra time for travel.
