KANKAKEE – Residents are on high alert after a man was caught on camera early Thursday allegedly making off with a generator.
Footage from a Ring Video Doorbell 3 reveals an individual, face concealed with a ski mask, emerging from the bed of a truck and tampering with a generator just after 4 a.m. The distressed homeowner took to the Neighbors App to report the theft, stating, “Someone stole our generator around 4 am curious if anyone can identify this man, I know it will be hard because he’s wearing a ski mask but if anyone seen the guy or anything let us know!”
The community is urged to be vigilant and provide any leads, even as the mask makes identification a challenge.
